Micronesian visa requirements: Proof of U.S. citizenship, sufficient funds, and onward/return ticket required for tourist visit up to 30 days, extendible (up to 1 year from date of entry) after arrival in Micronesia. Entry permit is needed for other types of travel; obtain forms from airline. Departure fee for Chuuk, Kosrae, and Pohnpei is $10 (U.S.), and $5 (U.S.) for Yap. Health certificate may be required if traveling from infected area. AIDS test required if staying over 90 days; U.S. test is accepted.
