London department store, Selfridges offers the world's most expensive sandwich at a price of eighty-five pounds. The high cost of the sandwich is mainly due to the Wagyu beef. Wagyu beef comes from Japanese cows which are raised on a diet of beer and grain. The cattle are reportedly massaged with the Japanese rice wine, sake, in order to tenderize the flesh.
